R.T Forbes Company
Jeffrey P. Scogland (Jeff) has been working full time since receiving his Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Massachusetts in 1999. Jeff is focused on engineers and new construction, design build & equipment replacements, as well as major tower rebuild projects. He has been serving as the president of the company since 2011.
Richard W. Scogland (Rick) has been with the company since graduating from Bentley University in the spring of 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Management. Rick specializes in Marley parts, all projects involving Recold products, and equipment replacements. He has been treasurer for over ten years.
Richard E. Scogland (Rich) started at R.T Forbes Company in 1978 after 10 years of experience at The Boston Naval Shipyard and Badger Petrochemical. After becoming part owner in 1983, he gradually changed the company from a general representative firm with ten accounts in diverse fields, to a more modern service-oriented firm that specializes in heat transfer and water cooling products. Rich’s current role is maintaining the contractor bid lists and collecting plans and specifications for new construction.
Robert W. Forbes (Bob) is the most senior employee and has been with the company for over 25 years. Bob’s technical knowledge and experience make him an extremely valuable asset to R.T. Forbes. He specializes in cooling tower rebuilds, retrofits, inspections and replacements.
Brigid Bolduc has been the office manager and secretary since August 2002.
Jack Dresty has been with the company since 2013 when he was brought on to improve coverage of the Connecticut area. Jack has experience with cooling towers and pulse powered chemical free water treatment products. He is available for tower inspections throughout Connecticut, western MA and RI.

Kellie Sacco joined R.T. Forbes in 2016 focusing on insides sales for parts, marketing for the company, and increasing our online presence.

R.T Forbes Company has been the New England area sales representative for the SPX Cooling Technologies (formerly, Marley Cooling Tower Company) since 1945.
In addition to SPX Cooling Technologies we also represent Kelvion (formerly GEA Heat Exchangers), Recold (an SPX brand), Puroflux, Griswold, and Air Solution Company.
We provide inspections, start-up services, technical information, and labor to upgrade or repair our existing installations.
Our goal is to maintain the highest quality of standards, to provide the best possible customer service, and to maintain or improve performance using genuine Marley parts.
