LOOKING TO HIRE: Cooling Tower/Commercial HVAC Sales Manager (Cooling Tower SME)

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Cooling Tower Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our sales team. They will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support related to cooling tower applications. This includes conducting assessments, troubleshooting, designing customized solutions, and delivering training to clients. The ideal candidate should have experience in cooling tower technologies, an understanding of industry best practices, and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Primary Responsibilities

Technical Expertise and Guidance

  • Serve as a technical resource for cooling tower systems, possessing an in-depth understanding of their design, operation, and maintenance.

  • Conduct detailed assessments of existing cooling tower systems. Identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Provide guidance on cooling tower selection, sizing, and configuration based on client requirements and industry standards.

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in cooling tower technologies, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of industry knowledge

Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution

  • Analyze cooling tower system issues and develop effective solutions.

  • Collaborate with engineering and operation teams to diagnose and resolve technical problems.

  • Facilitate root cause analysis and recommend preventive measures to mitigate recurring issues.

  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to recommend cooling tower solutions tailored to client needs and project requirements.

Training and Knowledge

  • Deliver technical training sessions and workshops to clients and industry professionals on cooling tower systems, their operation, and maintenance best practices.

  • Participate in industry conferences, seminars, and forums to stay connected with industry peers and share knowledge and insights.

Professional Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years of Cooing Tower and/or HVAC industry related experience. Experience in the design, operation, and troubleshooting of cooling tower systems, with a focus on large-scale industrial applications.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Work experience can be substituted for degree requirements.

• Strong knowledge of industry standards, and best practices related to cooling tower systems.

​

• Proven ability to analyze complex technical problems, develop innovative solutions, and effectively communicate them to diverse audiences.

​

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Willingness to travel as required to client sites and industry events
